Well a month or so has passed since we were sitting outside the Shelter on a very cold step at 9.15am on Mark’s Birthday, eagerly awaiting to adopt Sooty.

 

 

What a fantastic choice we have made; within 20 minutes in his new home, he we was all settled and curled up on the dining room chairs. He seemed so placid however now his ‘little rascal’ personality has come out! One thing he seems to think at the moment is that when Sooty is awake, everyone else should be!!! He is very spoilt and knows how to get his own way this even includes playing with his toys at 6.00am. He is the friendliest cat we have ever known and we don’t think he even knows how to swipe! He enjoys sleeping in his cat sofa.

We all want to thank the staff at the Shelter, especially Jean and Elaine for their time and patience in helping us make the right choice for us.
