Vacancy 1: Community Shop Manager

  • Hours: 35 Per Week
  • Salary: £16,380.00 Per Year
  • Interview Date: Monday 25th June 2018

We are looking for an experienced person to join our community retail team as Community Shop Assistant Manager.
The role is an exciting opportunity to work in charity retail and play a major role in fundraising in the community to raise vital funds for The Sheffield Cats Shelter.

This role will need a forward thinker, someone able to make decisions that will take our new shop on Abbeydale Road to great places and generate as much income as possible for the charity. This will be achieved through the recruitment, development and management of a team of volunteers that are confident in all aspects of the shop.

Vacancy 2: Warehouse and Logistics Manager

  • Hours: 37 Per Week
  • Salary: £17,500 Per Year
  • Interview Date: Friday 22nd June 2018

The role of Warehouse & Logistics Manager is a new role for The Sheffield Cats Shelter. The charity is embarking on an exciting retail expansion project, this includes a new warehouse and furniture sales area, as well as collections and deliveries of second had furniture in the local area.

This role requires an organised person that is able to work along side the Income Generation Manager to set up a warehouse operation and manage a team of unpaid workers to keep the warehouse shop stocked and that all collections and deliveries are managed correctly.

The most important experience for this role is a good understanding of how to manage a warehouse and plan delivery routes along with customer care during the delivery and collection process.

This is an exciting role which the post holder will be able to make their own to generate as much income as possible for a local charity.
