Watson came to the shelter by chance when another charity was trying to catch a pregnant female and caught him instead! It was clear that Watson had had a hard life and been straying for a while.
Watson is such a sweetheart! Given the life he must have had so far, he is so gentle and still trusting of humans. He LOVES his food! Picture a JCB digger and you’ll have an idea of how he eats! We do expect this to calm down over the coming weeks and months, but for now Watson is going on instinct and eating all he can while he can. However, when he gets used to his new routine of regular feeds and a comfy bed (which he’s already loving!) we think he will be much more contented.
Watson loves a good head scratch and fuss, sometimes rolling over on his side for one!
Watson is used to being outdoors so will probably enjoy going out again once settled in a new home. For this reason the home will need to be away from and main roads or busy areas.
We don’t think he would do well with very young children or dogs and we aren’t sure how he will be with other cats yet.
