Rosie and Fred
Rosie and Fred are two sweet characters who came to The Sheffield Cats Shelter when their home became no longer suitable for them.
Rosie is a lovely, friendly girly who has a lot to say to you when you visit her. She loves attention, but also loves a comfy snooze to herself. Fred is quite a laid back boy, but is rather partial to hiding, often needing lots of love and encouragement to come out from under his blankets.
Fred has been found to have issues with his kidneys, meaning he would be a Long Term Foster cat. Rosie however is perfectly healthy, so the home that they go to would essentially adopt Rosie, and care for Fred as a fosterer. They have lived together for most of their lives, and couldn’t be separated.
Rosie and Fred would need to be fed separately, so that Fred doesn’t eat food that’s bad for him. They are both used to being able to go outside, so would need to go to a home that is not near main or busy roads. They would also need to go to a home where they aren’t left alone for long periods of time, so that Fred’s eating and drinking can be monitored.
They would be fine in a home with older, sensible children who understand what cats do and don’t want, but would not mix well with other cats or dogs.
If you are interested in adopting Rosie and Fred, please visit the shelter on Wed and Fri 1:30pm - 3:00pm or Sat and Sun 1:00pm - 3:30pm
