Precious came to us when her previous owner was taken ill and there was no one else to care for her.
Precious is understandably a little shaken up after such a big upheaval, first losing her companion of the last 6 years and then being taken somewhere strange, whilst suffering with some pretty painful teeth and gums. She has had the treatment for her painful mouth and is on the road to recovery now. With some time and space, we hope Precious will become more at ease and enjoy having a fuss once she has settled more, but we understand that it is a massive change for her and not at all what she is used to. She is used to a quiet home with one lady and all of her home comforts. For this reason we think it would be best that she be rehomed to a similar home, quiet and with an owner that can give her space and take things at her pace. She seems to tolerate the other cats at the shelter, but she would probably be happier if it was just her in the new home. We don’t think she would be suitable with children as she is not used to them or a busy home.
If you think you can give Precious the home she needs, please pop to the shelter to meet her.
If you are interested in adopting Precious, please visit the shelter on Wed and Fri 1:30pm - 3:00pm or Sat and Sun 1:00pm - 3:30pm
