Heather and Poppy

Gender: Female
Age: 18 months and 3 years

These two lovely girls came into the shelter after being found living on the street. They are very close and are looking for a home together where they can get all the attention they deserve.

After arriving at The Sheffield Cats Shelter, it was discovered that they are positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). This means that their immune system is compromised and if they fall ill they find it harder to fight off infections and virus’s. Despite this, they can still have a high quality of life, but will need to be indoor only cats, to prevent them spreading the virus to other cats. They would also need to be either the only cats in the household, or they can live with other FIV positive cats.

These two cuties can be very shy at first, but once they get to know you, they are incredibly sweet. Due to their shy nature, we do not think they would get on well with Children or Dogs.

These two have had a rough start to life, and are waiting to start their new lives together.
