Bruce came to us when we were informed of a “pregnant female” living in a busy industrial area where other cats had been killed previously. On coming to the shelter, we found that “she” was a “he”, and most definitely not pregnant.
Bruce is a very timid boy. He’s not used to close human contact and usually freezes and sits like a statue when we are around. He doesn’t object to being stroked, but will just sit like a statue until we have left. If adopted into a home, Bruce would need a lot of time, patience and love in order to make him feel confident in his own space. He would need to be allowed outdoors too and wouldn’t be suitable with children or dogs. Currently he is in residence here with another cat who is full of beans, which he sometimes finds too much, so a more placid cat would probably benefit him. Due to him living outdoors for most of his life, he may be suitable for a farm life, provided he has the shelter, warmth and care that any other household cat would.
If you think you can give Bruce the right home, please pop to the shelter to meet him.
If you are interested in adopting Bruce, please visit the shelter on Wed and Fri 1:30pm - 3:00pm or Sat and Sun 1:00pm - 3:30pm
