Each cat on the “Our Cats” section of our website is available for adoption at the moment. You can click each cat photo to learn more about the age, temperament and home requirements of our available cats.
You may notice that there sometimes doesn’t appear to be many cats available. This is because not every cat at The Shelter is available for adoption straight away. When cats are admitted to The Shelter, we let them settle in, health check them, take them to the vet if needed, and ensure they are neutered / spayed, microchipped and up to date with their vaccinations. They won’t be available for adoption until all of this is done.
The Shelter always runs at full capacity, but sometimes after some lovely adoptions, we won’t have many cats that are available for adoption right now. Don’t worry- our staff will be working tirelessly to look after our newer cats, and to get them ready to find their new forever homes.
We do keep as on top of our cats page as we can, so if you see a cat on the page one day, and they’re gone the next, it will most likely mean they have been adopted. If there’s no one suitable to your needs when you check one day, be sure to check back regularly for cats becoming available.
