How lovely to receive an update from Abby, who was with us for some time before finding her perfect home to relax in. She looks fantastic!
I thought all you good caring people at the cats’ shelter might like an update on Abby's progress. Abby has been part of our family for three months now, and we absolutely love her to bits. She has settled in really well, and has taken over our son's bedroom, now he no longer lives at home. Her favourite spot is nestled against the pillows on his bed, from where she is able to see everything that is going on.
Abby's nervousness has eased a little, and she is becoming more confident as she gets to know us. We know it will take time and lots of patience, so there's no rush. In a morning if it's too early to get up, Abby will jump up onto our bed and sit quietly on top of the quilt at the foot of the bed, and wait until it is time to get up and get her breakfast. When we are relaxing in an evening, Abby will join us on the sofa, obviously enjoying our company. She is quite happy to sit next to us and be stroked, but is not confident enough to sit on our laps. But we are just happy to let her take things at her own pace.
Abby is such a lovely girl and we are so pleased that she is now part of our family.
