Abby - adopted Sept 2009
An update from a former SOS cat...
Much to our surprise Abby spent no more than five minutes under the dining table on our arrival home. She soon appeared and began to investigate her new surroundings, and has not looked back. She follows my wife everywhere around the house, especially when she goes upstairs, Abby is only a couple of steps behind.
Although obviously still very nervous, and undoubtedly will be for some time to come, the early signs are really good. As I type this email Abby is sat next to me on the sofa, as you can see from one of the attached photos.
Angela and I enjoyed our visit to the shelter yesterday. Even though I had spotted Abby on your web site, on the day the decision was made much more difficult when we met some of your other residents. So much credit should be given to all the dedicated people who give so much of their time, in an effort to give as many cats as possible a better life. I am really pleased I found your web site.
